Noted New York designer Matthew Whites’ newest project, the Hillsdale General Store
picks up where Mr. Oleson of Little House on the Prairie left off. Using the concept of the old fashioned general store, where country folks could find whatever they needed from a spool of thread to grain, White has reinterpreted the concept for 21st urban weekenders and locals alike.
Since the store opened last October it has become a destination. Located in the quintessential rural hamlet of Hillsdale, New York it’s a quick drive from the well known shopping Mecca Hudson, New York.
